Roly Poly

It happened just like that. Without fanfare and without notice. I wish I could say I was giving you my full undivided attention when it happened, that I was somehow prepared to alert all anxiously awaiting friends and family, that somehow sirens were going to sound, that you would've said "Hey mom, look what I'm about to do"...... but it didn't happen that way.

Two days before your 4 month old birthday you learned how to roll over. Finally... your arms, legs and gravity all worked together and did their part to get you from your back to your tummy. Rolling over is very thrilling for you, but once you get on your tummy you're not quite sure what to do. So we roll you back over, then you promptly roll to your tummy, and the process starts all over again. You don't waste a minute of your day lying on your back anymore. This entertains us for hours. We don't know who's more thrilled... us or you! Check out the live action in her new video. And, just because you weren't done showing off all your talents, you can hold your bottle on your own now too!
A few days ago we went to Barnes and Noble to spend some gift certificates. I picked out a new book and so did you. Yours is called Animals. It triples as a book, teether and rattle.
