No sooner did we return from one family reunion up north last weekend than we turn around and head to the next family reunion down south this weekend. This time it was for the annual Amstutz Family Reunion in Indiana. It was a full, fun weekend of swimming, boating, wakeboarding, playing games, eating, more eating, laughing, and visiting.
All the cousins were commenting on how this is time for a new generation, there were 8 little kids to play together this time! How fun! Its like the days I remember as a little girl growing up playing with my cousins at family get-togethers. Now there are eight little kids all experiencing the fun of growing up together and making memories, the parents to sit around and swap stories and take photos, and the grandparents to sit back and keep an eye on the little ones and recall the days that that was once them.

This is the photo that we were determined to get of the 8 little ones. This photo was no easy task, imagine 8 kids under the age of 5 being asked to sit still smushed together on one couch? If only you could've heard the loud chorus of adult cheers, whoops and hollers, and clapping to get them to
all look and smile at the same time. And you're looking at the result of our efforts. Its not the best photo but its the best you can get in a split seconds time. You'll notice Amy's hand off to the right getting ready to catch Kayla who was unhappy to be put on the couch and ready to slide off.

That makes for three family reunions this summer! We're so blessed to have healthy, happy families that enjoy spending time with one another!
