Dedication Sunday

Today was baby dedication at church, a day we will soon not forget. It was our committment to God, who gave us the privalege to raise Kayla, to direct her to follow in the footsteps of Jesus and accept Him as her personal savior. Pastor Phil and his wife prayed for Kayla's life with Aaron and I. What a wonderful day to have all of our family there too!

Kayla did so good. Paster Phil does like to try and hold the child that he is praying for but I knew Kayla would not go for that, although we did try. We were on stage with six other couples, in front of several hundred people, with a camera in our face broadcasting to several thousand more, so you keep the peace and do what the child wants. Our key to keeping her happy on stage was her own box of raisins to hold which you can clearly see her eating out of in all the photos. It worked like a charm.
