First snow!

We traveled up north to Kurt and Sarah's the Friday after Thanksgiving to visit and see little baby Cassidy. They have lots of snow up north, we have none! Aaron and I were definately excited to take Kayla out in the snow for her first time, probably more excited than she was. She wasn't too sure about it at first, mostly she just stood there. The snow had a hard top layer to it so it wasn't very easy for Kayla to walk through. That, combined with all the layers she had on made it difficult to move. A few times she fell over and held her hands and feet straight out so they didn't touch the snow. She was not interested in helping Aaron build a snowman, but really liked playing with her favorite outdoor ball; its never too cold to play with a ball. Eventually she warmed up to the snow and cried when she had to come in. She would stand at the window, pointing, and say "No!" (Snow without the "s").
