Sledding adventure, Pt 2
This winter will be remembered as one with lots and lots of snow and for the below-average, deep-freeze temperatures. It hasn't hit 30 degrees in the entire month of January. So here we have all this beautiful, lush, deep snow and its been way too frigid to enjoy it. But "cold" is relative and today the sun was shining and it must've been at least 20 degrees - and we have cabin fever - so we decided to try sledding again. Kayla much more enjoyed the flat surface and slow pace of our driveway; she was reluctant to venture into the deep drifts in the yard. But after she got used to the snow it was hard to stop her and she plowed right through on her own two feet. Again, we were frozen way before Kayla was ready to come in. She is just the perfect size for her sled, I can't get over how cute she looks sitting in it!

You're right - she does look SO cute sitting in her sled! Be sure to bring it along next weekend! (Kurt can't wait to take her inside his snow cave too.) :)
Also, maybe if you wore a hat on your head, you wouldn't be quite as cold. Just a thought. :) :) :)
