Birthday weekend continues

The festivities extended into the weekend with my family; we spent all day boating on the water... and even into the evening by watching the city's Fourth of July fireworks show from our boat. We were looking foward to introducing Kayla to her first fireworks display - and she seemed to enjoy it - for the few minutes that she managed to stay awake. It was a long, fun-filled weekend and even the lights and explosions couldn't keep her awake any longer.
