Kayla announced a few weeks ago that she would be Snow White, or No Whites as she calls it, for Halloween. She was very much looking forward to putting on her dress and going trick-or-treating.
We had been practicing for weeks, so Kayla knew exactly what to do. She had the lingo down and said Trick-or-Treat at every door as she held up her pumpkin bag and left by saing Happy Halloween. We visited about 20 houses in our neighborhood and Kayla and Addie ran the entire time - literally ran between houses, ran up to doors, ran to the next house, just kept running and running. I don't know if it was a sugar high or just pure excitement. Either way, it was very cute and we had fun trying to keep up with them. Even I was getting cold and tired, but when I asked Kayla if she was cold and wanted her coat on or if she was tired and wanted me to carry her she would yell - looking back at me over her shoulder as she was running - NO!After we came in to warm up, Kayla helped Daddy pass out candy. When the trick-or-treaters came to the door and Aaron said "You can have one", Kayla would say "No, lots of candy" and delightfully reached into to bowl to give them each a handful. Lukcy for them Kayla was feeling generous.

Hard to believe this is Kayla's thrid Halloween! And Jeannie, look back at Halloween #1. She's been wearing wigs a looonnng time! (Sheri, does that still fit her?)
