This weekend was a trip up north to visit Kurt, Sarah and Cassidy. Kayla and Cassidy had their usual fun playing together, but even more so now that Cassidy is walking. We're teaching Kayla - and even practicing ourselves - to stop saying "Baby" Cassidy. She's 15 months old and not a baby anymore. In these photos Cassidy is wearing one of Kayla's shirts she outgrew; its so hard to believe that Kayla once was that size because, to me, it looks so small now! This was one of my favorite shirts of Kayla's and now we get to share it with Baby Cassidy - I mean,
Cassidy. From one cute girl to another... glad Cassidy can enjoy it too!

This was a really funny toy that Kayla played with all weekend - Kurt's old E.T. doll from when he was a boy. There were handmade clothes and everything for it! Of course Kayla loved putting Cassidy's diapers on it, dressing it in pajamas and wrapping it in a blanket. It even came to church with us. No doubt the E.T. doll is a classic now but - sorry to say it - what a freaky looking baby doll to play with! Kayla didn't seem to mind. She said she wants to go back to Cassidy's house to play with E.T. again. Hope you have E.T. ready for us next time we come up Kurt!

E.T. is still diapered and in jammies. He probably will be when Kayla comes back; Cassidy seems a little scared of him. Or "her" as Kayla says. :)
WE MISS YOU, KAYLA!!!!!!
