Fair time

I broadened my horizons today and ventured out with Kayla to the 4-H Fair for the first time in my life. There was really no reason to ever visit before, but now with a little girl interested in all the fair has to offer - animals, games, crafts, rides - I knew it would be worth a trip to "Kids Day" today where everythinng was free and hands on. With Melissa as our "experienced guide" we went with Addison, Allison and Sophie.

Whew! It was hot, but it was lots of fun. We crammed A LOT into an afternoon. Here's a sampling of photos of our first field trip ever to the St. Clair County 4-H Fair:

Sheep and pigs and geese and bunnies and baby chicks and butterflies, oh my!
