Ahhhh, the traditional summertime parade on Wednesday night of Boat Week. It was supposed to set a new record for heat today, almost 100 degrees, and it felt every bit as hot. Our seats happened to be on the sunny side of the road, with no shade. We were roasting and dripping sweat and turning red, but we still enjoyed the hour-and-15-minute parade. Kayla's favorite floats were the ones with the "princesses" on them (girls dressed in gowns with crowns on) and the gymnastics groups. We even got to see Grandpa A on one of the floats. Oh, and going to the parade was like Halloween - we came home with about just as much candy!
