Post-birthday Weekend Extravaganza

The party continued today, only for someone else this time, for our cousin Caitlyn's 8th grade graduation and confirmation. We celebrated at their condo on Lake Huron and it was a beautiful day for sitting on the beach, swimming in the water, opening presents, flying kites, eating lots of good food, playing with cousins - which we did all of the above.

For the first time, you and Cassidy wore your matching yellow dresses that Aunt Sarah purchased. You both looked so cute in the dresses although most of the photos are from the two of you "wrestling/hugging" on the floor! Helping Caitlyn open her presents Kayla, 3 years old & Cassidy, 19 months oldThis might look torturous and painful, but they were having a blast and laughing so hard A Cassidy/Kayla pile-upThe moment we got in the car (two hours before normal bedtime) she asked "Mommy, can I close my eyes and go to sleep in your car?" And a minute later she was sound asleep. That's what a long day of playing in the surf and sand without a nap will do to you.
